Helping Children Dance in the Rain
What is a
raindancer?
SJGF supports families whose children are facing more than most do in a lifetime. These amazing children show us what it looks like to be true overcomers. They find joy even in the midst of suffering and they manage to share their precious smiles with the world during some very difficult life ‘storms’. The simple joys of childhood are often put aside and replaced with hospital visits, surgeries, clinics, medicine, therapy, and adapted equipment to meet their special day-to-day needs.
Yet they remain courageous and resilient in the face of it all.
The children blessed, celebrated, and loved in honor of Julia Grace are lovingly called “Raindancers” because despite the storms they face every day, they have learned to “Dance in the Rain” just like Julia Grace.
'Dance in the Rain', written & performed by Clouds and Thorns, in partnership with and to benefit SJGF, is now available to download or stream on all major platforms.
Thanks to Clouds and Thorns, all sales and stream proceeds of "Dance in the Rain” will go towards helping SJGF.

how we help
SJGF grants wishes, buys iPads to keep children entertained while they are in the hospital, modifies homes to give children with special needs more independence, sends children on dream trips, creates outdoor spaces for children to enjoy, provides room makeovers, contributes therapy-related gifts, throws parties to celebrate special birthdays and ‘end of chemo’ and so much more!
